The Result

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to nurture the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Rooted in Montessori philosophy and grounded in Christian values, each area of learning supports children as they grow in independence, confidence, curiosity, and character.

Children participate in meaningful, everyday activities such as pouring, cleaning, and food preparation. These experiences strengthen fine motor skills, concentration, and self-confidence while teaching responsibility and care for their environment.

Through hands-on materials, children refine their senses and learn to observe, compare, and categorize the world around them. Sensorial work lays the foundation for abstract thinking and helps children develop focus and appreciation for detail.

We foster early reading, writing, and communication skills in a joyful, engaging way. Children build vocabulary, phonetic awareness, and confidence in expressing their thoughts, nurturing both creativity and clarity.

Our concrete, hands-on approach helps children understand mathematical concepts in a natural and enjoyable way. By working with materials they can see and touch, children develop a strong foundation that supports future academic success.

Children are introduced to geography, history, and diverse cultures, developing global awareness and respect for others. These lessons encourage curiosity and an appreciation for the beauty and diversity of God’s creation.

Faith is woven throughout our curriculum. Children engage with Bible stories through sensory-rich activities and age-appropriate lessons that help them understand God’s love, guidance, and purpose for their lives.

Through intentional lessons and daily practice, children learn kindness, respect, patience, and responsibility. These essential social skills help them build positive relationships and navigate social situations with confidence.

Children learn conflict-resolution skills, empathy, and emotional awareness. By fostering a peaceful classroom environment, we help children develop compassion and a strong sense of community.

Our curriculum encourages exploration of the natural world through observation, discovery, and hands-on experiences. Children develop a love for learning and a sense of wonder about how the world works.

Art provides children with opportunities to express themselves creatively while developing fine motor skills and an appreciation for beauty. Each child’s creativity is celebrated and encouraged.

Daily singing, movement, and rhythm activities support physical coordination, listening skills, and joyful self-expression, helping children connect learning with movement and fun.

Children leave our program not only academically prepared, but also confident, compassionate, curious, and rooted in faith, with a lifelong love of learning and a strong moral foundation.

Three-Year Learning Cycle:

Our Primary Program follows a three-year learning cycle, allowing children to build on their knowledge and skills over time. Each year deepens understanding and reinforces concepts, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience.

Bible Stories and Lessons: At MSM, we present Bible stories every two weeks, creating opportunities for review and discovery.

Our approach includes:

• Sensory Bible Devotional Cards: Engaging visuals that bring stories to life.• Oral Storytelling: Captivating narratives that resonate with young hearts.

• Bible Learning Tray Activities: Hands-on experiences that reinforce biblical teachings.

• Daily Bible Songs: Each day, we sing a Bible song that corresponds to the letter sound being learned, integrating faith with literacy.
